1. What are Cookies?

A cookie is a term for a small packet of data sent by a web server to a web browser and stored in a user’s computer. The browser sends the data back to the server when the user revisits the same server. Cookies recognize individual users, keep track of user customization, and make web use easier.

Such processing is possible based on the following grounds:

  • for necessary technical cookies, the legitimate interest of the Controller in operating the website,
  • for preferential, statistical and marketing cookies, the reason for processing is your consent. You consent for the period indicated below for each type of cookie. You can withdraw your consent to collecting cookies data for these purposes at any time.

4. Purposes of Processing

There are two types of cookies depending to their durability:

  • Short-term (session cookies) remain in your browser until you close it, then they are deleted.
  • Long-term (persistent cookies) remain stored in the browser for a long time (depending on your browser settings and cookie settings) or until you delete them manually.

  • the right to obtain personal data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format where the processing is based on consent or a contract,
  • the right to withdraw consent at any time (where processing is based on consent), for example, by sending an email or letter to the contact details of the Controller,
  • request the Controller to erase such personal data – the erasure will be carried out unless the erasure is contrary to applicable law and the legitimate interests of the Controller,
  • in the case of personal processing data based on consent, request the transfer of such data,
  • in case of doubts about compliance with the obligations related to personal processing data, contact the Controller, the Office for Personal Data Protection, or the court.

The use of cookies can be set using your internet browser. Most browsers automatically accept cookies by default. You can refuse cookies or set your web browser to use only certain cookies.
