What is GreenGate₂? And why the “2”?

GreenGate₂ builds on the original GreenGate project, which focused primarily on parents and families. This second version shifts the focus toward young people and educators – those who are just starting to form their own buying habits or who pass knowledge on to others.

We believe everyone has the right to know what they put on and into their body – and what that sends back into the environment.

Who are we?

We’re a team of people who care about health, the environment, and informed choices. We don’t sell products. We don’t push brands. We provide clear, trustworthy information about everyday product ingredients – so you don’t get lost in the fine print. We help you recognize harmful substances, understand their impact, and choose more responsibly.

What we offer – and gladly share:

Workshops, trainings, excursions – education through real-life experience

GreenScan app – a mobile app that scans a product’s ingredients and tells you what’s really inside

GoGreen E-learning – an online course (video-based) that explains the link between ingredients, health, and the environment

Toolkit, G-Book, MINI Handbook – practical educational resources for schools and informal learning

Blog with DIY videos, articles & interviews – inspiration and hands-on tips you can use right away

Why does it matter?

Because the label and marketing aren’t always the whole truth. Because health and the planet deserve more than quick decisions in a drugstore aisle. And because understandable information gives people the power to choose better – without pressure, but with respect for their own body and the world we share.

Want a workshop or lecture?

We offer interactive, easy-to-follow workshops and talks for schools, NGOs and other organizations. They’re grounded in real-life situations – and yes, there’s theory too, but we deliver it in a way that keeps attention.

• Greenwashing – how ads and packaging mislead us
• Microplastics, water, waste – the toxic cycle and what it means
• How to make your own natural cosmetics – deodorant, cream, serum, toothpaste…

• Cleaning products & intimate hygiene – simple steps to go eco without compromising comfort

Cost?

Thanks to funding from the EU Erasmus+ programme, we can offer all workshops and lectures completely free for anyone working with youth (aged 13–26) – including schools, youth clubs, community centers, and similar organizations.
