What is it for?

This little vial is the first aid when a pimple appears. A blend of essential oils with antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties helps to soothe the irritation, dry out the inflamed pimple and to promote healing without unnecessary chemicals. Ideal to have in your purse or school bag – simply apply directly to a pimple.

🧪 Ingredients (for a 10 ml roll-on bottle)

• 9 ml of oil e.g. grape seed oil, hemp, jojoba – they get absorbed easily and don’t clog pores
• 1-2 drops of tea tree oil – strongly antibacterial
• 1-2 drops of lavender oil – soothes and regenerates
• 1 drop of rosemary or chamomile oil – works against redness and swelling (for sensitive skin, use either chamomile or nothing at all)

For sensitive skin or younger teens: you should only use 3-4 drops in total.

GG tip: If you only get an occasional pimple, then a 5 ml bottle is sufficient.

✨ How to make it?

1. Prepare a 5 ml or 10 ml roll-on bottle.
2. Add a few drops of essential oil.
3. Pour in the plant oil.
4. Close and shake.
5. Apply locally to the pimple, ideally in the evening on a clean and dry skin.

🔧 How often should you use the roll-on?

Use locally 1-3x a day, for a max. of 1 week in a row on the same spot. Then take a break or dilute the mixture. If the spot is sensitive or peeling, dilute the mixture or reduce the frequency of application. Do not use long-term or on large areas.

🧠 Tips & tricks

• Cooling effect: put the roll-on in the fridge for 20 minutes and then rub it onto the pimple. It will soothe the swelling and burning.
• Pimple patch trick: apply the roll-on, wait a minute and then cover with a transparent patch overnight.

Safety first 🙂🏥

Test for tolerance on a small area on the skin. Avoid the area around eyes and open cuts. If the place burns or gets red, wipe off the oil and dilute the mixture with the plant oil you’ve used. You can add 0.2 to 0.5 % of vitamin E for longer shelf life – it is truly a tiny drop and it is harder to measure due to “honey-like” consistency, so feel free to rather make a smaller amount of the roll-on, for example 5 ml.

⏳ Storage and expiration date

Ideally store in a cool and dark place 😀. It will last up to 6 months. Discard if the scent or colour changes.

GG tip: Dark glass = lasts longer. An amber or a green bottle blocks light and protects the oil.
