Fakulta ochrany \u017eivotn\u00e9ho prostredia (FVO) je nez\u00e1visl\u00e1 vysoko\u0161kolsk\u00e1 in\u0161tit\u00facia, ktor\u00e1 vyu\u010duje ochranu \u017eivotn\u00e9ho prostredia v naj\u0161ir\u0161om zmysle slova. U\u010divo sa prekr\u00fdva s pr\u00edrodn\u00fdmi vedami, in\u017einierstvom, bioin\u017einierstvom a spolo\u010densk\u00fdmi a humanitn\u00fdmi vedami. Fakulta bola zalo\u017een\u00e1 v roku 2006 ako Vysok\u00e1 \u0161kola ochrany \u017eivotn\u00e9ho prostredia a v roku 2022 sa stala fakultou.<\/p>\n

FVO pon\u00faka dva \u0161tudijn\u00e9 programy v s\u00falade s Bolonskou zmluvou, trojro\u010dn\u00e9 bakal\u00e1rske a dvojro\u010dn\u00e9 magistersk\u00e9 \u0161t\u00fadium. V\u00fdskumn\u00e9 aktivity na fakulte sa realizuj\u00fa v r\u00e1mci r\u00f4znych n\u00e1rodn\u00fdch a medzin\u00e1rodn\u00fdch projektov, ako s\u00fa cie\u013eov\u00e9 v\u00fdskumn\u00e9 programy pre koncov\u00fdch u\u017e\u00edvate\u013eov a r\u00f4zne programy E\u00da. Fakulta je dr\u017eite\u013eom nov\u00e9ho certifik\u00e1tu Erasmus pre terci\u00e1rne vzdel\u00e1vanie na obdobie 2021-2027, s ktor\u00fdm m\u00e1 mo\u017enos\u0165 medziin\u0161titucion\u00e1lneho prepojenia v oblasti vzdel\u00e1vania, praxe a v\u00fdskumu.<\/p>\n
